BadBitCoin.Org List of Scam Sites
#1
http://www.badbitcoin.org/

"A bit about Badbitcoin.org and the aims of this project.
'The Badbitcoin Team' is made up of volunteers worldwide - Including YOU. Collectively we have IT, Network and Business / Finance experience, not to mention interests in bitcoin, and we were becoming increasingly irritated at the number of newcomers to bitcoin, whose first experience is one of being robbed. This is not what the Bitcoin Industry is about.
It's easy to misunderstand this new Bitcoin World, and the scammers who set out to exploit your lack of experience, by promising unimaginable wealth, and incredible returns through genius investments. Sadly, if it looks too good to be true - it is.

Check here regularly, read out Tips section, and the Badlist and you will hopefully avoid most of these Bad Schemes, and more readily spot some good ones."'

Check out the Badlist tab on top and search for any sites you're looking at to see if they got listed as a scam.

You can also follow them on twitter for more news.

Yeah, it's a great site to check other sites before ever sending money.

Happy for you to make this thread a sticky (that's if you can). We use this site as a sort of "rule of thumb", especially when moderating links posted in the referral section.

They tweeted today, "22 more Cryptocurrency badsites added in the last 7 days. These crooks really want your coins."

And I know I saw a ponzi site on bitcointalk, that they didn't have yet. Remember, their site is a great resource for checking a website before giving them money.
