Yeah, I had read something about Amazon coins in the past. For those who don't know about them, there is a wiki article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Coin

They are being called a "virtual currency", but they are NOT a cryptocurrency. You just purchase the coins, like a tokens or a giftcard and then use them to buy other things. But they're not based off the blockchain. It would have been so much cooler if it was.
